A few days ago I bought some really good peaches and I used some of them for a fruit salad. What could I do with the other peaches? I thought it could be a good idea to use it to cook some pork (I know that pork with apples is really good, so why not peaches?). This is a quick tasty pasta. I love to make it with home-made spaghetti, but you can also use Barilla or De Cecco pasta (my favorite brands). Organic lemons are a must, because you need lemon zest (and you know… lemons that are not organic have a weird wax on their skin. Bleah…!). I like this pasta because the lemon gives a wonderful aroma and lowers the sweetness of the heavy cream.

After living 2 years in the Bay Area, now I know where I want to go out for dinner.
Other than good fast-food places (like In-n-Out Burger and the Falafel Drive-In), it took me a long time to find good restaurants. Finally, now I know where I would like to have dinner.

I like to go to an Indian restaurant every once in a while. It is a very different cuisine from the Italian one but some dishes are really good. Plus, my brother likes to go there, so I wanted to learn how to cook one of my favorite Indian dishes: Butter Chicken. It is made of pieces of chicken mixed with a light orange cream/soup (I do not know why it is called so, but there is not a lot of butter in it. May be because the texture is very creamy. Or… who knows?).

“Torcetti piemontesi” are Italian cookies similar to breadsticks (but covered with sugar). They come from Piemonte, a region (county) of Italy. Their shape is similar to a close “U” and they are very crunchy. I really like them! Here is the recipe. Read more »
