Mele cotte (cooked apples for a good digestion)
During winter, or when me or my brothers had stomach ache, after dinner my mother used to cook some apples. I think there are many kinds of cooked apples, but this recipe is very light and very easy to make.The only things that are necessaries are cut apples, water, sugar, a little bit of lemon juice.Cook the apples with water (like 2 apples and 1/2 cup of water) and sugar (1 tablespoon). You can also add some dried plums and cook them with the apples. When apples are soft, add the lemon juice (like the juice of half a lemon). Eat warm. And your stomach will make good dreams!

I can assure you that these are absolutely delicious. I do not know if you realize but almost any recipe that appears on this blog I get to try in the evening. Yes I know that I am a lucky guy.
