Béchamel sauce

Béchamel sauce can be used for lasagna or moussaka or over roasted Brussel sprouts. It is very simple to make and it adds a creamy but light taste to your food.

Ingredients for 6:

  • 4 ounces of white flour
  • 2 cups of whole milk
  • 2 ounces of butter
  • salt

Directions:

  1. In a small pot, melt butter and add flour.
  2. When flour has got a brown color, slowly add the milk.
  3. Cook for a few minutes.
  4. Add salt.

Suggestions:If your besciamella is too thick, add more milk. If it is too liquid, continue cooking with more butter and flour.
