My favorite restaurants in the Bay Area
After living 2 years in the Bay Area, now I know where I want to go out for dinner.
Other than good fast-food places (like In-n-Out Burger and the Falafel Drive-In), it took me a long time to find good restaurants. Finally, now I know where I would like to have dinner.
My 3 favorite restaurants are:
- TIGELLERIA ORGANIC RESTAURANT - 76 East Campbell Ave, Campbell, CA 95008
- DELFINA RESTAURANT - 3621 18th Street, San Francisco, CA
- BOBO’S THE STEAK - 1459 Lombard Street, San Francisco, CA 94123
TIGELLERIA ORGANIC RESTAURANT is a wonderful Italian restaurant. There is awesome traditional Italian food. Everything is organic and made with good quality ingredients (good olive oil, Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and so on). It is the same food my grandma would cook in Italy (lasagna, eggplant parmigiana and so on). It is not too expensive and the place is very nice and welcoming.
DELFINA RESTAURANT is another Italian restaurant (I’m very picky with Italian restaurants. They have to be really good to convince me to eat there). I can assure you that this restaurant is really really good. They use fresh and good quality ingredients and the taste is very good, without being to heavy or too strong. The food is sophisticated but simple and refreshing at the same time. The house-made mascarpone was awesome…
BOBO’S THE STEAK is a very good steakhouse. I suggest you take the bone-in filet mignon and many appetizers (the burrata crostini are my favorite appetizer) and side dishes (the sweet potatoes are the best!). The wine is very good too.
Yummy! Now I’m very hungry!
