Hi,
I am Sara and this is my new blog. I recently married Damian and moved to California from Italy. Since I spend a lot of time at home and cook a lot I decided to share my cooking adventures. Of course I will describe the adventures in trying to cook authentic Italian dishes with ingredients I can find locally in Northern California.
I am certain that as time progresses I will venture out and try to cook other cuisines. So stay tuned and enjoy.

Mo’ ti scrivo in italiano sennò impazzisco! Non ho avuto molto tempo per leggere le ricette. Mi son soffermata sulla storia dell’insalata russa..
E volevo farti partecipe della variazione sugli ingredienti che mi ha fatto assaggiare la mia amica kazaka.. Quindi russa! Lei mette pochissima maionese, così è più leggera e aggiunge anche pezzetti di mela. Inoltre il giorno in cui ce l’ha fatta, ci aveva messo anche del pollo. E assolutamente niente sottaceti (come nella tua versione). Credimi: il risultato era buonissimo. Niente pesantezza. Ne abbiamo mangiata veramente tanta e abbiamo commentato che un eguale quantitativo di insalata russa ufficiale, con tanta maionese e coi sottaceti, ci avrebbe sicuramente stroncato. E invece la sua era veramente leggera…
